Trepidation about having a facelift? Absolutely! Vanity won out and I am extremely glad it did. Wanted to look better, tighten up some but not expecting to look 25. I came prepared to the procedure with a hat, scarf, sunnies and even considered a sheet to drape over myself just in case :). All admonitions by friends that had had the procedure, telling me how they were glad they had had it done but to prepare myself as to how G-d awful I would look right after didn't happen AT ALL!!
Day of, excitement and anxiousness dove-tailed into each other. Arrived and was given one Valium and one Ambien, taken to a very nice room with a TV and a remote waiting for these to take effect. Lord, I kept saying, I feel nothing, hope this works. Well, about 15 minutes later, the one reporter morphed into four. His great staff had it timed perfect. Right about then, I was taken in for the surgery. Totally loopy but could hear the background music, conversations between him and his assistant, and Dr. G's instructions to me to smile, whistle (couldn't do it before, can't whistle still, lol), move my eyebrows up and down, etc. Soon as he said, we're done, I couldn't wait to see myself, sans any bandage and preparing myself for the worst, I was AMAZED! Even suggested he take the "after" photos right then. Out the door and in our car by 1PM or so having arrived a bit before 9AM.
Walked out after my surgery only with the bandage wrap, no black and blues, extremely minimal swelling, no hat, scarf or sunnies needed and my husband, who is very squeamish about all wounds, scars and such, couldn't believe it. FOUR days later, girlfriend picked me up and we went to breakfast. Not ONE look from anyone since my hair covered the stitches and two small black blues behind my ears.
Very glad I went for local anesthesia, none of the nausea and experienced no pain whatsoever. Most uncomfortable: the head bandage, glad it was only on for two days. Two and a half weeks now, I wear my hair pulled up, back, anyway I want. Guess if you're looking for it, you can find the slightly pink scars around my ears, to that I say, you don't like it, don't look!
Oh, and by the way, I am a great looking 61 year old :)!!! Wish everyone the absolute best.
Congrats!!! You finally moved. We miss you!

Dear Dr. Galitz and staff,
Congratulations on your new office and I wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Rica
I'm very happy with Dr. Galitz and my overall results. My client referred me to Dr. Galitz for my Blepharoplasty procedure. When I went to the consultation they all made me feel like family. My results are amazing! The healing time was very short and I love the way I look. I have referred my Mother-In Law to Dr. Galitz and have already sent over more clients for him. I'm really happy with his work. He's a great surgeon! I'm very picky and wouldn't have referred him if he hadn't exceeded my expectations.
Richard & Linda-
Thank you for everything! We really appreciate all your kindness- Good Luck in your new location…
I just wanted to thank you, not only for your skills as a doctor, but your genuine caring and compassion. It is such a comforting feeling to know that your doctor is there for you at any time, and to feel the warmth that you so bring forth.
Also, to let you know your office staff is to be commended for everything they do from beginning to end to make the patient feel special and well taken care of.
God bless you, and reward you with much happiness, abundance and prosperity.
Sincerely, Madaline Lawrence

Dear Doc,
I want you to know that it has been a great experience working with you in the office for so many years. (We're practically family!) Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to learn a great deal in the operating room. Everything I have learned in the office, you and Dr Tachames have taught me and I'll never forget that. I'll have a lot of great memories, we all have a lot of fun times, and I feel that I've made great friendships. I hope that we can keep in touch and you could keep me psoted on how successful your little girls become!
Also, don't hesitate to call me if there is any way I can help you, with any questions the girls may have in the office. I'll really miss you guys!
Please accept this gift as a token of my appreciation for your generosity in allowing me to observe so many procedures; I cannot thank you enough for the opportunity. To be quite honest, I almost gave up my dream and goal of becoming a plastic surgeon. Internally I struggled. I made every argument possible in attempts of convincing myself why I should not proceed. Organic chemistry is miserable, I am not getting A's, I want to be a mom, every young doctor I have met discourages the profession, especially the women. I've always been told how creative I am, and how successful I would become in graphics or communications. Those are the classes in which I effortlessly obtain A's. So, slowly with many tears, I bought into my excuses. I did know that I never wanted to regret my decision. I came to your office for my final test. I was hoping to find it boring, and finally be able to persuade myself against medical school and end my case. However, after spending time in your office and speaking with you, I had a million reasons why I should not quit pre-med at Franklin & Marshall and not one reasonable reason why I should. If I do not become a doctor, I can't think of anything in that world that I want to do. You and my grandfather, an orthopedic surgeon, both made it clear that after a while, a day in the OR is work like anything else. There is something deep inside that tells me I won't mind, and that I will always love it. I have to thank you for helping me re-ignite my desire to devote my career to the most noble of them all. I am sure there may be times I will again want to quit, but I am more sure than ever that the ends will justify the means. I, like you, plan to express my creativity through medicine and plastic surgery. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Richard and Lynda,
Thank you so much for everything you've done for us. All the time, calls and, yes, even the tape were greatly appreciated.
Nicole and Andrea Saudie
For a wonderful & great job you've done. May God fill you with love and happiness.
This basket is just a token of my appreciation of your extra help, time and effort ou have spent on my behalf. Thank you for making my surgery and recovery the best that I can be.
I am from Miami. On top of being socially active in my community, @ MoCA I am the Chair of the Shakers. Professionally, I work as a contributor to Plum Miami magazine as their social columnist and fashion correspondent. I am also a television personality, having appeared on various local programs on Plum TV to international shows on MTV and VH1. A few years ago, after watching myself on television, I was unhappy with my nose and its appearance in proportion to the rest of my face. Immediately I knew I needed to have some work done. After interviewing various Plastic Surgeons, I met Dr. Galitz. After my consultation, I knew it was time to book my appointment for my procedure. Dr Galitz and I were on the same page and had the same goals when it came to fixing my face: proportion. Every other doctor I felt just cared about the $, Richard cared about results, and I was afraid of looking 'slope nosed" like every other girl out there. 2 years later, my nose is all and more than I could have wished for.
The procedure was minimally painful, and I am confident my decision was the right one.
Richard and Lynda,
Thank you so much for everything you've done for us. All the time, calls, and, yes, even the tape were greatly appreciated.
Galitz Family,
Thank you so much for everything. You made this whole process comfortable and pleasant and I am SO happy with the result!
Thank you so much for taking such great care of Emma Monday night. We really appreciate you going above and beyond on our behalf. You made a challenging situation as easy as possible.
Thank you very much for taking time out of your day to come and visit my class. It was very educational! I think I might want to be a plastic surgeon just like you! I learned a lot from you today, and yours was my favorite of all out of everyone's presentation!
Sincerely, Elle Langone
My experience was amazing from the consultation right down to the surgery. Everyone is so nice which is refreshing. Doctor Gallitz is not only amazing and super talented but a down to earth person. I have recomemded many people including family and everyone i know.

Hey Dan,
It's been three weeks after my procedure, and I'm going through the shedding stage. I know it will get better in time.
Dr. Galitz was great with his diligence and smooth sense of humor. I'm very glad to have met him, and I appreciate him for making the trip from Aventura. I'm plan on emailing him sometime soon.
Karen and the rest of the crew were amazing as the put in the massive amount of work on my hard head. They made sure I was comfortable and relatively painfree throughout the procedure. They truely made it an enjoyable process because they all carry such a great vibe. I'm not good with names, but I will always remember their faces. Very appreciative of their work.
Even the world famous Dr. Epstein dropped in on me! In all honesty, I only read a few articles on the guy, and humbly felt he was way out of my budget range. So I just dropped my research on him all together. Suddenly I found myself meeting the man himself, and he even took the time to work on my hair! After the fact, I checked out some of the videos on him and realized that he is truely a larger than life figure. It was such a honor to meet Dr. Epstein and I am forever thankful for his generosity with his time. He deserves all of the success and fame because he is simply a great person.
Last, but not least; thank you for pulling all this together in such a short amount of time man. I'm aware that you really pushed some limits on making the procedure fit my budget. I will never forget that Dan. I will definitely send people your way.
My appologies just got back to you today. Yeah, all Ok my swelling from my cheek implant is gone just a bit numbness still.
I will send you my pic this week sometime for Dr Epstein and Dr Galitz.
By the way, would you please send the best thank you and Appreciation for all team in your clinic. You all Fantastic and I did recommended all of this to people here.
Also Would you please tell Lynda Knight that she most welcome to came here and stay with me, if she like visiting OZ.
Cheers Carolyna
Dr. Epstein,
It is already evident that you and Dr. Galitz did a quite wonderful job. Though I am constricted to wearing dark sunglasses for awhile I am most happy with my decision to have this surgery and pleased more every day with the results. Thanks also to your fine staff for their care in the hours post-Op. They were more patient with me after a long day of work than duty required them to be. Anyway, I will keep in touch and be sure to send photos when the bruises abate.
I went to Dr Galitz twice for my injections of Dysport. Not only is he a board certified facial and plastic surgeon, but he is calm and collected, which is always a plus when you have needles pocking your forehead.
His staff is fabulous, and he offers a "day of beauty" every last Thursday of each month, with prices that will make you want to go back every month.
He also does a lot of other procedures, and is becoming an expert with hair replacement and minimally invasive face lifts.
Give it a shot (no pun intended:)), because it's worth it!
– Sophy
Hi Dan, thanks for the regards.
Yes, Dr. Galitz is a wonderful doctor. The staff is delightful to talk to and willing to accommodate me with my needs. Dr. Galitz, took his time to make the surgery day as comfortable as possible. He was able to see me on a Sunday after I had called him about a concern I had. I am truly happy that I chose Dr. Galitz and his staff to do my procedure.
Nicole
