Without question, revision rhinoplasty is the most difficult and demanding cosmetic procedure. The surgeon must take into account the original problems and concerns of the patient, along with whatever changes have since been made, as well as the patient's present concerns and disappointments.
From a technical point of view, there is scarring and possible implant concerns that take great experience to deal with appropriately. Expectations, in these cases above all, must be realistic.
A majority of surgeons doing cosmetic procedures shy away from or refuse to do revision rhinoplasty work for these reasons.
