As a proud member of the FHR's elite-level hair restoration group, Dr. Galitz performs the most highly refined techniques in hair restoration available today. Dr. Galitz' team of hair restoration technicians that assist him with each case, which he personally performs, average over 7 years of experience, and like Dr. Galitz, have been cross trained for over one year with Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, the founder of the FHR. All hair cases are personally designed by Dr. Galitz to ensure the most natural look and get the best possible results for the number of grafts chosen. All work is done under local infiltration anesthesia and is essentially painless. We strive to make the experience both rewarding and with minimal downtime.

We acquire the donor hair by two methods:

Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT)

The first is with the FUT (commonly called Strip) technique which is the most common and affordable approach and remains the gold standard in hair transplant techniques. The benefits of this are excellent reliability of the grafts and cost advantages, but results in a barely detectable linear scar fully concealed by patients who wear their hair, on average, at ½ inch or longer.

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)

The second, and newest, method is Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) where each donor graft is removed individually using a tiny 0.8 mm incision tool. The great advantage of this is entirely avoiding the fine line linear incision in the donor area. For those who may wish to shave their heads or wear their hair very short this is an excellent option, though is a bit more costly that the standard FUT/Strip procedure. For the right patient our office specializes in this and the results are truly impressive.

Most patients are capable and feeling well within 1-2 days, and presentable in 5-7 days. The results last a lifetime and look and feel 100% natural because it truly is 100% natural.

Women's Hair Loss Treatments

Our office also specializes in women's hair loss and can accomplish the same great hair restoration for those women who are suffering from thinning hair, diffuse loss over a wide area, or have receding hairlines due to genetic loss, traction alopecia from heavy and tight braiding of the hair, and other causes.

Body Hair, Low Level Laser Light Therapy and other treatment areas

Body hair work, facial hair (beards), and eyebrows can also be hair grafted with superb results as well. Last, our office provides state of the art Low Level Laser Light Therapy machines which can, over a series of treatments, which cause no side effects, feel as if nothing has happened, and are under 30 minutes, can slow hair loss in around 70-80% of men and women and thicken existing hairs in just under 50%.
