Laser hair removal uses pulsing laser light to target the pigment in hair follicles without damaging the pores of surrounding skin.

Laser hair removal is experiencing an explosion in popularity, due to the ease of treatment, decreasing costs, and the duration of the results. Most individuals who chose laser hair removal report a permanent reduction in hair growth, and many never experience re-growth following treatment.

This treatment can be performed on any area of the body, using pulsing laser light to target the pigment in hair follicles without damaging the pores or surrounding skin. Most laser hair removal procedures require three or more sessions to achieve full results, because the laser hair removal treatment is only successful when the hair follicle is in the growth phase. At any given time, some of the hair follicles will be in the resting phase, rending laser treatment ineffective, so repeated use of the laser hair treatment improves the chances of catching all hair follicles in the growth phase at some point.
