Question: In doing research for my hair transplant, I have come across 2 procedures that are a little confusing: FUE and FUT. What are the differences between FUE and FUT hair transplants?
Answer: FUE takes grafts out one at a time and has no resultant scar. The process is more expensive and time consuming. For those who may wish to wear their donor hair short this is excellent. FUT procedures use a standard strip that leaves a scar. It is easily covered by your own hair so long as it is not shaved down. It is cheaper, quicker, and slightly more reliable that FUE work.
