Question: Does a facelift include eyelid surgery and a browlift? If not, can I get those two procedures done at the same time as my facelift?
Answer: Eyelifts and brow lifts are done as separate procedures from a facelift, however they can be done at the same time and for many reasons I would suggest doing so. For starters the recovery is a one-step issue and the overall result is much nicer. In the end there will also be a dollar savings.
Question: I had permanent eyeliner tattooed on earlier in my twenties. I am now in my forties and was wondering if an eyelid procedure is able to remove the area of my eyelids that are tattooed?
Answer: Perhaps, however if the tattooing is too close to the eyelid margin in cannot be removed by a standard blepharoplasty.
Question: I’d like to get an eyelid lift but I’ve had problems with dry eyes for most of my life and was wondering if this would keep me from being a good candidate.
Answer: You may find after a blepharoplasty that your dry eye problem has become a little worse. My suggestion is to avoid the surgery or consider the chronic use of artificial tears if needed.
