Question: I'm interested in chin augmentation and would like to know if this will affect my smile in any way?
Answer: Placed properly from under the chin a standard chin implant will have no effect on your smile.
Question: I had chin augmentation surgery 4 days ago. I am still experiencing a lot of pain and I'd like to know if it is better to apply a hot or cold compress at this time?
Answer: At this stage cold.
Question:

I am a 34 year old female considering chin augmentation. I would like to have chin and jaw angle implants put in. What is recovery like when a patient has both of these implants put in?

Answer:

Chin implant recovery is relatively simply with swelling for about one week, mandibular angle implants are a little more difficult and swelling may persist for two weeks.

Question:

How long is the typical chin implant surgery? What is the implant made of?

Answer:

It takes me 20 minutes to do a typical chin implant case start to finish. I use Implantech soft silastic contoured implants in the size and shaped dictated by the individual patient’s needs.
