Board certified facial plastic surgeon Dr. Galitz has over 24 years of experience. He entered private practice in Aventura in 1986 and has continued his practice at this same location for the past twenty two years.
Dr. Galitz was the President of the Florida Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for 2001-2002, and the President of the Dade County Head and Neck Society. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, and a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Surgeons. He also offers his expertise to medical students as Assistant Professor of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Department of Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Galitz has a graduate degree in sculpture and painting from the University of Maryland and is an active artist.
